On Wednesday, November 14, Leominster High held a signing for three baseball players signed to colleges to continue their academic and athletic careers in the Media Center.

Seniors Patrick Gallagher, Danny Garcia, and Ryan McCarthy all represented the Blue Devils in high spirits.

Patrick Gallagher, who has been a pitcher in varsity since he was a freshman, had committed to the University of Connecticut, playing Division I baseball.

He is undecided in his major but says “I like engineering or business.”

When asked about why he chose UConn, his eyes lit up with excitement and and big smile was across his face.

“It just felt like home as soon as I got there,” said Gallagher.

Danny Garcia is playing Division II baseball and committed to Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Ryan McCarthy will be playing Division III baseball at Fitchburg State University.
