The Leominster High School Golf Team will be heading on to the championships at the Sandy Burr Country Club, Wayland, MA, Oct 25, 2021, at 12:00 p.m..

The team earned a spot in the championship games by winning the Western Mass Division 2 Sectional Championship on Oct 11 in Pittsfield. 

Despite their long hours of practice — Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., focusing on course management, the team does know how to enjoy their time. 

Coach Darryl Robichaud,  who’s been coaching the golf teams since 1998, said he coaches this team differently than previous years because he allows them to be themselves. “I realized every team is different,” said Coach. “I tried making them a more serious version of themselves, but I realized every team has their own character.”

The team includes Freshman standout Luke Grebinar, Seniors Daniel Simons, Patrick LeBlanc, Alessandro Conte, and Kevin Kelly, and Junior Colby Julsonnet.
