Last Friday night, under the lights at the historic Doyle Field, the Blue Devils brought home their first post season victory in 10 years.
LHS junior and QB phenom Osiris Lopez rushed for 119 yards and three touchdowns against the Westford Academy Ghosts.
Lopez tallied a total of four touchdowns to secure the Leominster Blue Devils’ first postseason victory in 10 years. The win against the Ghosts last Friday night ended with a final of 35-28.
“We gotta come out the gate even stronger next Friday, the job’s not finished,” said LHS senior Nathaniel Hankins.
Up next on Friday November 15 the team will play #3 ranked Xaverian Brothers in Westwood. The Blue Devils are ranked #6.
