LHS Students Tops in Math

The Leominster High School Math Team traveled to Fitchburg State University Friday to compete in the 41st annual Elizabeth Haskins Mathematics Contest.

Leominster led the field in capturing first place among competing juniors and seniors.

Lillian Wyckoff took home first place for juniors and Adam Mullaney for the seniors, beating out the competition from Hudson, Fitchburg, Monty Tech, and the Leominster Center for Excellence.

In addition, Adam Mullaney earned special recognition as the top scorer among competitors of all grade levels, 10 – 12.

The team is advised by LHS Math teacher Lisa Bailey.
