The Leominster High School Baseball Team are the Mid-Wach A champions of the Spring 2023 season.

The baseball team will be participating in the CMADA (Central Mass Athletic Director Association) which is a tournament for the 8 teams with the best record in Central Mass.

Leominster is the #1 seed and will be playing Doherty High School who is the #8 seed as their next game on Tuesday, May 23, 2023

The Blue Devils are second in the state in division 2 right behind Milton High School who is 15-3 according to MIAA Power Rankings.

Senior Jake Richard said,  “The season is not over yet and the job is far from finished. We aren’t underestimating any team we face and we are just playing it one game at a time.”

Jake Richard’s statement not being a surprise that they want to go for it all and nothing less.

Leominster has a great baseball program and has been to the  State Championships multiple times.

Senior Alex Oquendo said “ I didn’t transfer from Fitchburg to Leominster for nothing. I want that chip because that’s what I worked for and I know with the people that play next to me we are able to do it.”

The Blue Devils are definitely a team people should be looking out for as they face the road ahead of them.
