At Leominster High School, there is a CTEi class called Business Technology. It’s like a sneak peek into the world of big companies, investments, and entrepreneurship.
Every day students look into the latest business news. They talk about what’s happening in the market, why stocks are going up or down, and how global events shake things up.
They learn about the biggest companies, figuring out what makes their profits and how they stay on top.
Real Estate is another big topic they study. Students learn how to find a good property deal and what makes real estate a smart investment. Plus, they get to learn about entrepreneurs around the U.S., which totally inspires them to come up with our own business ideas.
This CTEi shop allows the grades compete with each other in a Stock Market Game. They all get virtual money to invest in real stocks, and it’s a race to see who can make the most profit. It’s super competitive, with everyone hustling to make the best picks and outsmart each other.
This CTEi shop is not just fun, but it teaches students how to research, take risks, and make smart decisions. It’s the perfect mix of fun, competition, and real-world skills that get students pumped for the future!
