I visited Leominster’s new food truck-turned-restaurant, Teddy’s Lunch Box for today’s review. I will be reviewing the customer service, food, and atmosphere on a scale of 1-5.
Those familiar with Teddy’s know it was originally a food truck located at 45 Bruce Street. Now it is a very clean restaurant that opened on December 12, 2025 at 776 Central Street Leominster, right next door to the 7-11.
It’s open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30am-8pm.
Their menu offers a variety of smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes and drinks, and fries along with fried pickles and salad.

I went on a Friday afternoon around 4:20pm.
Upon walking in I was transported into a polished vibrant 1960s style minuscule smash burger joint with the tunes to match the aesthetic. I would rate the atmosphere a 3 out of 5.
The customer service was commendable, I was greeted with warm welcomes and didn’t feel rushed when deciding what to order. Another 3.5 out of 5.
I would say some initial drawbacks from just looking at the menu were the prices with sandwiches ranging as high as $15.99.
I got a hot honey chicken sandwich for $12.99 with a side of fries, bringing my total to $17.11.
My food was ready in under ten minutes (I was the only one there). The aroma filled the room and prompted my excitement to dig in.
The fries on their own were crunchy with some soft in the middle, but kind of bland. With ketchup I would rate them a 3 out of 5 – nothing special, but fine.
The sandwich was a good size. It came with yellow and red banana peppers, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. The chicken wasn’t spicy but a little tangy and sweet.

I didn’t enjoy the banana peppers, and I think it took away from the sandwich.
The sandwich was a good size, but eating it did get a little messy so be warned.
Overall, I give the food 3 out of 5 mainly because it was not worth the higher price.
