On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, LHS senior Tishany Delarosa signed her college commitment papers to Bryant University to play Division 1 track and field in the fall.
Surrounded by her coaches, teachers, family, and friends, Tishany celebrated her excitement to continue her academic and athletic career as a Bryant Bulldog for the next 4 years.
Tishany has been on LHS Varsity for indoor and outdoor track for all four years even through COVID-19.
She also played soccer during her freshman and sophomore years.
Tishany received 2 Division 1 offers, one from Merrimack College and the second from Bryant University.
This does not come as a surprise as she was highly ranked in the state for the 2023-24 indoor track season
During an interview, Tishany spoke about her grandmother and how she is her biggest inspiration. She said, “She always guides me to the right places and always tells me to keep my head up even when I have bad races or good races, she always encourages me to do better”.
Tishany is very excited to play at the college level
