VIDEO NEWS: LHS Boys 14 Up Flag Football Team Win Regionals in Pittsburgh, Get to Present Steeler’s Pic at the NFL Draft

The Devil’s Advocate recently interviewed the winners of the Boys Flag Football Regional tournament and their upcoming trip to Indianapolis for a chance at the National title.

The Leominster 14 Up Boys Flag Football team recently won their regional championship game in Pittsburgh and earned a chance to compete in Nationals in Indianapolis. Their last second victory from a hail mary pass to LHS Sophomore Mika Pa’u got them to the National playoffs and also a chance to be on stage for the NFL draft where they announced the Steeler’s draft pic.

The LHS girls flagfootball team also won their regional game and both will be competing in Indianapolis for the National title.

Jaylianiys is a junior at Leominster High School. She plays for the LHS Flag Football team. She really enjoys her sport and encourages people not to think about others’ opinions and to try something new. Jaylianiys also enjoys spending time outside with family and friends, and her dog, and she loves traveling with her tournament team. She loves kids and spends her days after school at work, working with kids. The kids love her too, and she enjoys making sure the kids are safe, but also having fun.   Jaylianiys has chosen to take Journalism because writing has been a strong suit of hers, winning her two awards for writing, and she believes that one day, one of the stories she covers could raise awareness for many health conditions and other issues going on in the world.
