MUSIC REVIEW: 21 SAVAGE: American Dream

Album Has Just Entered Its Second Week at the Top of the Billboard Charts
MUSIC REVIEW: 21 SAVAGE: American Dream

21 Savage just released a new album American Dream and it has taken the internet by storm with some of the songs named: “All of Me”, “Redrum”, “Sneaky”, and “Dark Days”.

This is his third solo album and it starts with his mother, Heather Joseph talking about her family’s emigration to America during his childhood.

Jay-Z has used this concept before by using his mother in The Black Album.

21 Savage appeals to his fans by being a confident performer and inhabiting a role that doesn’t have a lot of relation to his life right now.

People say that the hook is not what they expected and that Schoolboy Q’s part is very lyrical.

Early reviews are mostly positive and praising.

The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. 21 Savage also has a film called “American Dream: The 21 Savage Story” that follows his experience of being detained by the U.S. ICE in 2019.

Check out these songs.

The 3rd song on the album “Redrum” has many different elements and instruments to make the song better. I would rate the song 9/10.

The 5th song on the album is “Sneaky.”  It is a fast-paced song with many instrumentals but mainly focuses on the vocals and I would rate the song 8/10.

The 15th and final song in the album “Dark Days” is another fast-paced song with a lot of vocals and fits the theme of the album. I rate the song 7.5/10.
